Hatched to the Molten Embers Clan known for their graced warriors, he was always born to be a great and successful warrior.

Once a sell sword for hire Kaiba was known by many clans for his skills as a warrior and his mastery with a sword but only those with the deepest of pockets could afford him. Held in the highest of ranks Kaiba had many friends that he cared very little about and many enemy's too. Carrying the "Shade Touched" curse of his father, Arion and his Grandfather before him, ment his ruthlessness in battle and life was more so than that of any of his peers.

Upon his arrival he had been escorted to the glen by the clans Prophetess Iliana. She had explained to him that it was the clans Matriarch Sylvan whom had requested his sword for hire. His breath had been taken away at the meere sight of the Matriarch, he had never seen such beauty before. She was standing among the White piones that bordered a secret garden within the glen, at its center was a pond full to the brim with white water lilies and a fountain at its center.

When he had walked over to the Matriarch she had held out a soft white hand and he had taken it up to his lips and planted a gentle kiss upon the back of it, all the while never taking his eyes from her face. She had addressed him as Lord Commander, had given him a gentle but encouraging smile and in that moment, from the gentleness of her voice, the softness in her eyes and the graceful way she moved. Kaiba knew instantly that this was where he would remain even if they could not afford him, he would not be leaving this place, his new home.
