She thought she was ruined, she thought she had to kill him to get her power back. Even with this mindset no matter how many times she tried she couldn't do it. She didn't understand how a feeble and small hatchling could move her so deeply to the point where she would give up everything for him. She didn't want him though. She never truly would and if she were given the chance to get rid of him? She would gladly take it. Then everything changed. The night the assassins came for the hatchling's mother, They scattered, he was the first in thousands of years. He was a White Phoenix, he was the only thing that kept his mother in power, he was Hakuoh. His mother had everything she wanted. Power, dragons bowing at her gaze. She was worshipped like a queen, but most importantly of all.. She had The White Phoenix in her grasp, and she never let go. His mothers power lead to his own imprisonment. He was locked in a cell by his own mother, whom claimed to the clan that he was a tyrant that hurt people for fun. The only thing of origin that they let him keep was his pearl. The only thing he saw everyday was himself reflected in that pearl. Day by day he got worse. Day by day he lost more sanity. Whispers would flood into his cell as he slept. "Monster.." "Devil.." The nicknames he received at such a young age. Word about the monochrome white phoenix spread fast and much to his mother dismay, by bragging about having him in her grasp lead to his escape. They moved fast, struck by night. A group of monochrome dragons who had no name, no title, but just a reputation for recruiting others like him. Escaping with them was like heaven. He would never be imprisoned again. Not on their watch. Slowly, his sanity and emotions came back, through thick and thin one dragon stayed by his side. Ink, a colorblind monochrome dragon. Soon enough he ended up falling for her. She was perfect. Although he hasn't confessed, they're still adorable together.
