Nocturnes are known for imitating, not for their originality. Marlyn disagrees - she is an excellent painter! She may use references, but never copies anything. Everything she does with her art comes from her own mind, and she is quite sure that her breed does not, in any way, influence her art. She loves playing with the colors and combining them in unique ways, but most of all, she loves seeing how far she can get with her art - can she make a picture with only flowers and rocks? Can she paint on the wall of a cavern?

She has always been fascinated by still sceneries. Vast, clouded skies; toys strewn about in their lair; the rays of the sun peeking from the thick foliage of the trees. These are her favorite to paint, but she think she may need to practice a little in drawing portraits too - everyone keeps asking, and she'd love to make them happy.

Marlyn traveled from the forests of her birth searching for new vistas to paint. She stopped at the shores of the great sea for a long time painting the vast oceans and mesmerizing waves. Eventually her journey took her to the Starfall Isles.
