Iolaethe

In the beginning, Iolathe found herself without a home, or family. She was forced to live out her young adult life in the wilds, battling for food and survival. She was content to live her life alone, until she found a forest-toned tundra, Beetrid. However, it was not a smooth transition into friendship, as this particular dragon sought to steal from her. She caught him red-clawed and kept him as her prisoner, unsure of what else to do with him.

The prisoner-captor relationship quickly dissolved into a casual friendship, where either was free to go whenever they pleased. Friends became lovers, and they hatched a clutch together. However, their lack of resources and youth caused the hatchlings to die within the egg.

Other dragons came to be a part of the clan, but they were transients and rarely stayed long. Both took on other mates, but those relationships were short lived, and they are mates once again. Though they live a hard life, their numbers have become much more fixed, with several permanent members to their clan that can protect them and create a safe environment where their young can be raised.
