"Cross me, and you shall pay. Cross my clan, and you shall perish."
The fierce and lethal clan matriarch - who is also its most loyal protector. As members of the High Council, she and her mate speak for the best interest of the clan as a whole. Adavis was born to fly. When she was hatched from her abandoned egg, the young Guardian couple who became her caretakers happily took her to the wind. When pushed, a young Adavis was rumoured to have flown 10 metres into the Twisting Crescendo before the gale proved too much. As she aged, her natural talent grew, and the small group soon became a family. All was well, until her caretakers disappeared whilst flying over the Plaguebringer's domain during a scouting mission. Adavis rapidly changed from a bright, proud dragon into a brooding, fierce beast. The loss of her only family left her alone, and her lack of a charge left her humiliated and hollow - without a charge, she was merely half a dragon, without a family, she was less still. And so, blinded by a passionate rage, Adavis began The Search. She viciously stalked the realm for her charge, and was so unforgiving and brutal in her approach that she earned a harrowing title - The Pale Storm. Her journey came to a close in Dragonhome, when she rescued a small Dryad, Vashta, from a pack of cruel younglings. As soon as the Dryad nestled under her dark wing that night, Adavis knew she had found her charge, and it brought her a strange and much needed peace. It was then that she was able to return to The Windswept Plateau and found the Nerada clan. What once was a small hollow in a cliff face has become a beautiful jade castle, perpetually floating high above the ground, of which she guards with her life.
