Paladin of Light and Wind

- - - Kaze's legacy began when the winds tossed her egg from the Cloudsong and into the clutches of a Light clan mid-flight. Hatched and raised by the ways of the Light, Kaze is a fierce, proud, and daring matriarch with a passion for truth and justice. Her Light family raised her under philosophical wings and introduced her to the ways of scrolls and relics, unlocking history and delving deep into the pursuit of knowledge.

- - - It was by doing such research that Kaze learned of her Wind origins, having successfully unearthed a Wind Rune during her clan's daily archaeology flight. They had been on the cusp of Wind territory when the Guardian found the stone, which glowed fiercely in her talons but not those of her family. This confused Kaze initially until she put the pieces of the puzzle together:

- - - She was a Wind dragon.

- - - Kaze confronted her supposed 'father' with fangs bared, demanding answers, but the wise old Tundra simply chuckled and beckoned her close, defusing the Guardian's rage with a single embrace of his warm golden fur. He told her of their chance meeting while she was still an egg, and that they had searched for her true parents originally but found no one with any inkling as to whose nest she belonged to. After diligent research, he had determined that Kaze actually had no parents at all, that she were instead a riddle sent by the Windsinger and Lightweaver for him to decipher, for him to raise. And, he had chuckled, it seemed that he had succeeded.

- - - Kaze had been successful in her pursuit of knowledge, as any true Light dragon aspired to do.

- - - Her adoptive father blessed Kaze with the Light's highest honor, an Illuminated Emblem, and released Kaze to the wilds to fulfill her destiny and forge her own path in life, knowing full well she would spread truth and justice wherever the winds took her.

- - - Despite her old age, Kaze has joined the ranks of the Saints to keep her home, and its legacies, safe from harm.
