Sicarius

While he's still a dangerous mercenary for hire, Sicarius's story is a little different to those of the other members of the Slate Commandant. He met Remorse before either of them were affiliated with the Bastion- Remorse had passed through his town one night, and the two had met in an inn. Remorse left not soon after, but Sicarius set out on a journey of his own not long after and they just kept bumping into each other. After a while, they couldn't help but hit it off just the tiniest bit. It really felt like they'd been getting somewhere when Remorse disappeared. It wasn't until after Sicarius had joined the ranks of the Specter Bastion did he discover that Remorse had gotten here before him. It was awkward at first, but they grew closer over time. Of course, office romances are a bad idea to start with and office romances on a criminally inhabited island outpost are even worse, but there's not much you can do to stop one once it's started. Still, they're doing their best to keep it secret. Samuil's kind of a pain in the neck, though.
