Nanko

Born into a well-off family in the Icefield, Nanko grew up in a grand home surrounded by the many members of his family. By medical terms, Nanko was technically born blind. However, though he lacks physical sight, Nanko has never had difficulty maneuvering around objects or people and could easily fool passerby's who weren't aware of his blindness. The reason he acts unhindered by his 'disability' is that, though his eyes may not function, he can still 'see' by using his other senses and a little bit of unconscious magic. Using this method, Nanko can create a sketchy visual of his surroundings that may seem primitive compared to physical vision, but it works just fine for him.

Loved and supported by his whole family, Nanko grew into a gentle soul who enjoys the simple pleasures of life.

Funfacts:

• The fifth of eight siblings, Nanko was never lonely and always had the company of one or more of his siblings at all hours of the day.
• Because he relies on it to help form his mental map, his sense of touch is heightened to the point that if others suddenly touch him without warning him first he can go into a state of sensory overload.
