Fosca, the leader of the Shadowmelt clan, is a young female adult mirror dragon with a lot of energy and determination.
Spoiled and lazy, this supposed-to-be leader passes down her duties to her mate, saying she has better things to do than ordering around, and wanders off the coliseum to train. She thinks to be able to protect her clan from everything, but often jumps right into trouble to prove the rightfullness in her words. Surprisingly enough, she seems to be really lucky, since she never came back injured, much to her mate Aster's relief.
She's very confident and proud of herself, and does not like cooperating with other species than her own. Despite this, she is deeply affectionated to her packmates, and especially attached to hatchlings, to whom she seldomly teaches wrong lessons.
When her pack was moving to another territory, it got attacked by an emperor dragon with two heads: one of the Light, the other of the Plague. Only a few survived, the rest were killed, but at the end of the fight, the Monster was lying on the ground, soaked in its own blood.
Before dying, it hit Fosca's shoulder with a Plague attack, leaving four deep infected scratches on it. The survivors of her clan continued their travel and left her behind to die.
She tought it was her end, but a male guardian suddenly appeared and saved her.
The two, after some years, decided to create their own clan, since they've grown to love each other.
Some time after, Fosca found an imperial hatchling while scavenging in the Plague territories. It looked terrified, but not by the mirror, but by herself. Her eyes just screamed "kill me" though the shock made her mute for a while. The black mirror took her to her clan and adopted her, but, fearing the reason for her to be scared of herself, prohibited her coliseum fighting
