Chabashira

[Letter of recommendation for Chabashira from Chittam the trapsetter mage]

Chabashira was referred to me from general training when it became clear that she was more... aggressive than her previous teacher specializes in. (The word they actually used to describe her was 'brutal,' but personally I feel that was a bit of an exaggeration.)

She seems to have a natural talent for using the plants around her to defend herself in creative ways- for example, rather than just having vines reach out to trip an enemy, I once saw her command them to shoot up and grab a beast by the neck in such a way that its own momentum made it flip head over heels before crashing to the ground. She also shows some promise in the skill of rune-setting, which means she could eventually learn to set her magic in the ground and on trees as traps that will activate against enemies who pass by them later. I think she would be a powerful asset to any clan looking to defend its territory against outside threats.

She gets along with others quite well, which seems to spring from a sense of confidence. I suspect that if anyone tried to insult her or start an argument she would simply laugh them off. I hope she will have the common sense to remain realistic about her abilities in the future. It would be a shame if that confidence were to go to her head and turn into pride.
