Crux has a reputation as something of a bad boy, which worried Tao when he and Alef started growing closer together, but one discussion on the philosophical ramifications of the Nocturne Migration of the Third Age later, and Tao was wondering if she didn't have her eye on the iridescent punk. Due to his appearance, Crux has always had to project an image tougher and meaner than he actually is, and truly finds himself to be a little lonely, since he doesn't appear--or act--very approachable; so when the cerebral, know-it-all princess Alef fell for him, he was quickly enamored of her, and they quickly made their own nest on the upper terrace of the temple.
Crux has a hot temper, but a warm heart, and will defend his immediate family and extended clan at any cost--even if it means torching a good portion of the surrounding prairie doing it...
Crux loves 'summitting'--flying as fast as he can straight up, as far as possible, then enjoying the wind on his face and wings as his plummets down, leveling out feet above the ground. He's had few accidents, but he's a tough guy, he can take it.
