Eleri has been called fussy.
She's been told that she's too focused on the details. That she can never just let anything go, particularly when it comes to her many children - and other dragon's children, as she has a tendency to mother any hatchlings that stray too close, and the occasional barely-adult dragon besides.
So at first, the clan was disappointed when Eleri volunteered to track negotiations with the Water flight. They feared that her fussiness would only annoy Water flight.
However, they failed to account for just how useful it can be to have someone with all the details always in place. And so now, Eleri is regarded as the "great negotiator", for exactly the fussiness that often annoyed her clan-mates.
(She also got a frog!)
