If you ignore the might of the demigods within the Corvidae Coelum, Rasmus is one of the most powerful dragons in the clan. His might comes from his immense magical strength, unparalleled by any other save for perhaps the demigod Eliora, or Nyxia when it is night-time. His magic surrounds organic matter, a slight oddity considering his element in Sornieth is plague. Most would expect such a strong organic mage to be of a nature element, or even earth.

Because of his immense might and his acknowledgement of his own strength, Rasmus has developed a bit of a god complex. His ability to heal any injury or fix any flaw is extremely useful to many dragons, to the point where Rasmus often ignore any invisible lines between what he should do, and what he can do. The coalt often doesn't realise that he shouldn't fix every single thing he finds flawed in someone or something, simply because he views it as a flaw. This often puts him at odds against many dragons he meets.

When he isn't busy with his organic magic, Rasmus often ends up acting as a scholar for the clan, helping Petrichor out in her researches. Although the pearlcatcher often gets frustrated by Rasmus' arrogant attitude, she usually works well with him, due to his knowledge and intelligence.

He often argues with Charis a lot, due to their similarly conceited attitudes. But while he won't admit it to himself, Rasmus doesn't actually hate Charis all the time.
