Biography

N E C A L L I
- the third, the traitor -

Second of their Father's creations, Necalli was sent to guard the first humans in their world. An archangel devoted to his Father, he was the first to grow inquisitive of the small creatures that inhabited the world he and his siblings seemed unable to leave be. Diligent, firm and swift, Necalli served as the one to keep their siblings in their own realm- it was not safe for their kind upon the Earth, nor were they permitted to mingle freely with their Father's creations.

Before his manifestation came Akilah and Ba'al, the First and the Watcher. Akilah was warm but distant, her role best suited elsewhere as she pursued her wandering questions.

Next came The Twins, Desta and Jabez. Their soul had split into two during their creation, leaving them with distinctly differing personas that only settled while they were combined into their True Form. Mischievous, daring, sometimes bordering on dismissive, their bright spark brought life into the heavens, lifting those who heard their voices and bringing smiles and joy to their siblings.

Isaac arrived with little fanfare, his hair gathered at his nape as he accepted Ba'al's hand to stand. Quiet and unassuming, he watched his siblings with a quiet fondness, often found reading in their Father's gardens.

Khoshekh came next, shaking loose the stars that gathered upon his brow and wings and standing tall, marked in ways the others did not recognize. Strange patterns and tattoos decorated his skin, his eyes a hue unfamiliar to his siblings', marking him different.

There came others after, but they were many, many years after the First had come. Different. Not as close as the First had become with their Father's absence. Cael. Gabriel. Amiya. Many names, and many faces to follow, but none were the same as the First. None held the power of Archangel as the First did, and none dared question the First as the first signs of thunder stirred on the horizon.

Things changed after Adam and Eve.

They were Nephilim, created from what would become Humanity, and Angelic Grace. Two things that their Father was deeply interested in examining with the eyes of a scientist. Eve's rejection of Adam came as a suprise to all who were witness, but Adam's rage and betrayel turned his soul to darkness, his grace warping as he became the first to Fall.

Their Father retreated for a time, none but Akilah able to reach him with her call. The First of the Archangels she was, but even with her grace their Father was nearly beyond reach. It was mere coincidence that she stumbled upon the truth- their Father was a mad God, one who would seek to destroy all he had Created.

Horrified, Akilah broke from their paradise, her wings carrying her as swiftly as she was able to Ba'al. Surely he would know what to do?

But how could they stand against their Father? Their Creator?

After Ba'al she flew to Necalli, but he had followed one of their siblings to the Earth. Isaac had pulled Khoshekh down to the realm of humans, and while they were there had fallen in love with humans.

Rage and disgust filled him at the thought of Nephilim mingling with humanity. They had been forbidden to go to the human realm, warned of the consequences!

He descended to an ancient society known as Egypt, striking down Isaac and his lover without mercy. Fulfilling a prophecy unspoken. A darkness had been festering in his heart for many long years, always chafing against the near isolation his position had forced him into. The First was the one responsible for watching over their siblings, and yet here he, the third, the one who was meant to be their tutor and their brother, was the one left to deal with their mess.

Corrupted by their Father, they would whisper millennia later. Corrupted by the same madness that had made the old god desire to wrend worlds upon their axis.

And so he killed one of their own, sealing his fate as Traitor.

Khoshekh escaped where none could follow, a trail between the worlds too small for Necalli to follow, his own lover felled to Necalli's dark vengeance.

Kleodora hatched from her egg the second of three, born from the coupling of a wind-spirit and an Archangel. While her eldest sibling Corycia seemed content to settle in the ranks of the angels, she was not so easily soothed by such things, a yearning in her blood for sights elsewhere. The youngest, Melaina, had already journeyed to other places, leaving Kleodora to decide where her future lay. With those she called kin, or the wonders of travel and endless curiosity?

The answers lay within the deceptive and alluring Necalli. Tempted away from her siblings, the generation of the First was jarringly different than the legends that portrayed him. They had a single nest. One in which proving Necalli's true state of madness. In a fit of rage, he slaughtered their first hatchling and would have done the same to the second had she not taken the little one and run, fleeing the angel with her own wounds to tend.
