Bijou

Bijou looks rather intimidating, at first glance. All of the little ones who see her pass by while at market huddle in their mothers petticoats and tremble for fear of being turned into a toad by this misunderstood witch. But they couldn't be farther from the truth of the matter.

Bijou is the friendliest dragon you can find, and a beauty to boot. Her flawless looks and talent with magic make a great combination for the good witches business of selling bottled magic and giving away street cures for the common cold. And she loves what she does. But she drapes herself in clothing to appear menacing for a reason. Often in her travels Bijou would be attacked by highway men, eager to take from her what they pleased. So while traveling, to keep herself safe, she will don her scariest clothes and cast an aging spell to appear as an old hag to keep them away from her.

Bijou knows that deception is the greatest tool in her arsenal, and over the years has honed her abilities to become other dragons. She knows how to dress contrary to herself and look like all sorts, all just to fit in where she needs it. But this skill was developed out of necessity, in places were she was unsafe to be herself. When she came to live in the Runelight Hallow, her need to be someone else diminished. She would never forget how to disguise herself as someone else, but she never lost sight of her real self, and her real self loves to dress in scary witch clothes anyway. It tickles her to see frightened faces before revealing her true nature.
