Second progenitor of the Sunweave Tangle clan, and the true leader. Fifth in the council. While the other members of the council make all the lofty decrees, Iovita is the fae who runs the day to day dealings. She is frequently found flitting around the many scholars' dens and digs, checking to be sure everyone is doing well. Though the clan is very loosely organized, more multiple compounds of scholars each studying their own passions, Iovita's job is still necessary. It is she who settles disputes. Khnum tends to help out when he can and she is often found perching on his head, as she does with Avitus. She and the haughty Icarus make an interesting couple; she is happy to listen to him ramble on about Plague's superiority for hours on end and he is happy to threaten any wrongdoers who refuse to listen to her. Well, made anyhow. He unexpectedly went to join Lightweaver and left a strange note--which left her suspicious. Her eyes are keener than they were. She was never interested in being Avitus's mate; instead, their relationship has always been that of close friends. When she found the guardian, he was struggling to hide his charge, terrified it would be stolen. Iovita, though not particularly strong, offered to watch over it in shifts so he could get some sleep. Though she dislikes how he runs the clan, she respects his courage and daring and he in turn is always willing to listen to her advice. Most of the other council members, however, tend to ignore her. |
