The Lure of Flying

Ever since she had hatched there was something unearthly about the glow in her eyes and the air surrounding her. It was warmer than you'd expect from an ordinary dragon; as if she had taken the volcanic vents with her from wherever the stray egg had come from. While normal dragons had trouble staying aflight for long amounts of time do to the energy spent on flapping Earhart always found the thermal drafts.

Due to this she's always felt just a little restless in the confined space of the grove they settled into. It wasn't the most enclosed space, but there was nothing New about it after awhile. With the confines memorized she had nothing left to do but adventure, and adventure she did. Taking up another scout position within the clan she travels along the outskirts and occasionally dips into other dragons territories.

It isn't uncommon for her to disappear for days at a time on a new adventure, but that doesn't mean her clan is used to it happening. Thanks to her adventurous nature and somewhat fiery attitude she's been labeled as a trouble maker and is therefore Always In Trouble. Luckily the other scouts don't seem to mind. Particularly their undead companion, but she doesn't really care about how he's still moving.
