A sweet woman with a heart of gold, who loved nothing more than nature itself. Unfortunately, it's the love of nature that caused her illness. Like Eve in the Garden of Eden, she ate the one thing she shouldn't have; the forbidden fruit.

It had hung there, waiting for someone to come by. The locals warned her to not touch it; that anyone who took a bite of the lone apricot would become a monster. She thought it superstition. She thought the trees would never hurt her, for her love of nature was unparalleled. She was wrong. So wrong.

One bite, and she could feel the fangs poking through her cheek. The sinking horror in the pit of her stomach as her flesh began to boil. Morphing. Changing. She was ghost of what she once was.

Apricita now hides her shame behind her scarves as she wanders the woods, warning others of poisoned fruits. For she still loves nature, but knows now to never underestimate it.
