Ragnhildur

Ragnhildur is dedicated to learning about the stars and all their laws. She has a burning passion for the skies, founded by her own interactions with the Arcanist, and this motivates her to overcome challenges resiliently. Ragnhildur's role in the clan
is astronomer, and she makes sure to take a sophisticated, scientific approach to founding and sharing knowledge within the clan and amongst other dragons. Her personality type is INTJ-T.

Ragnhildur often turns to Neve for guidance and looks up to the dragons that accepted her into the clan as a hatchling with reverence and adoration. She is quite detached from the going-ons of dragons within the clan but loves all the dragons fiercely. She loves to share her knowledge of the world outside the Earth and she particularly loves telling curious hatchlings stories of the universe, adoring the wonder on the small dragons' faces and relating personally to their reactions.

Born into a clan on the Sea of a Thousand Currents, Ragnhildur was taught to love the ocean and be like it in every way. Despite her attempts at being fluid and moving with the ocean, she was often teased by others in the clan because of her flashy appearance. She was ridiculed for her appearance and lack of aptitude as a Water dragon, and did not feel loved within the clan.

One night, she was told to sleep outside the lair, as her shiny scales were distracting the other hatchlings and keeping them from sleeping. Outside she was cold and lonely, she did not feel safe near the water as she did not fully know it and what was hidden in its depths. But rather than look down, she looked up to the stars, hoping for an emotion other than fear. When she saw the many constellations, clusters and galaxies of shining stars, each dot slightly different in size, brightness and colour, she did not feel fear. Rather, she was amazed by the sight, and heard a voice.

This was the Arcanist, calling to her and telling her that she must journey to a place that would nurture her as her heart truely desired. So she left the lair, largely unnoticed by others, and travelled through the Scarred Wasteland. Armed only with determination and her trust in the Arcanist and the stars, she reached the southern beach of the Starfall Isles after two months of travelling.

Having hardly eaten or slept during that time and not yet grown into an adult, Ragnhildur was little but a shadow. She was noticed, however, by Neve, on the daily task of gathering seafood. Neve immediately wrapped her in blankets and carried her in their basket back to the lair. For three days, Neve and the other dragons cared tirelessly for Ragnhildur, until she had fully recovered.

When Ragnhildur arose from her bed in the lair, she found all the dragons came to meet her and embrace her. She was accepted into la Clan du Ciel and felt fulfilled. Later that day, speaking to the Arcanist, she was told that this clan would be perfect for her, allowing her to become Arcane in every manner but her eyes. So Ragnhildur gratefully joined the clan, making her appreciation for her acceptance known to all dragons whom she meets in the Starfall Isles.
