Surtr's interests include fire, burning, bringing forth the flames which will end the world, and collecting plush dolls.

As it's a struggle to get Surtr to do much besides set fire to things1, and if there isn't any disembowelment involved Swiftkeen requires hefty bribery2, Tachyon and several covens among the fae are taking regular recruiting trips to the Ashfall Wastes looking for a talented metallurgist who can be convinced to relocate3 to Spud's lair.
