Penguin showed up during Nocturne night as an egg. The egg was oddly small, but still hatched safely.

Penguin is over excitable and speaks in the third person. They don't use pronouns when referring to their own being. Always wanting to see people laugh, Penguin will often make a fool of himself on purpose even if he does know better.
He has an odd fascination with puppets.

When Colrath asked him to be Nature Representative, everyone was surprised. Even Penguin

Poppy: Penguin familiar is a cute little Bogsneak Puppet. He loves it dearly.

Penguin is very quick to observe when someone is feeling sad. The colors of words change with the pitch and tone. When Penguin notices someones colors being off from normal, they will try their best to cheer them up.
