Flying Instructor.

From the day she hatched, Arlie looked to the skies and longed to join the birds in flight.
Learning to fly proved much harder than she wished. No matter how hard she flapped, she could not take off. No matter how many times she jumped from cliffs or her clan mates' backs, she always went crashing back to the ground.
Arlie thought she would never fly.
After getting feathered wings and a feathered tail (crafted from feathers donated by her familiars) fitted to help compensate for her weak flight muscles, and a lot more practise, she finally flew for the first time, and it was everything she had ever dreamed of.
Flying is still hard for her. She can get to her destination as long as it's not too far away, but she'll probably crash at least once along the way. No matter how clumsily she flies, she'll never stay restricted to the ground.
She helps teach all the hatchlings how to fly. She wants all dragons to enjoy the freedom of flight.
