Taiyou is energetic and adventurous, but is more responsible than his mate Tenmei, who he does his best to keep out of trouble (or at least away from serious injury). The pair of them are the clans lead fishers. Taiyou love catching strange fish, and usually brings a bunch back for his collection.

His scarf was knitted by his mate Tenmei when she was recovering from an injury. He treasures it.


Taiyou arrived on the strong southern winds from the distant Windswept Plateau. He was the very first young dragon to have found himself on the doorsteps of Ceiro and Mona's newly founded home in the far Eastern region of the Shattered Plains.

Very young and energetic, Taiyou originally proved himself quite a hassle. But as the clan received a further influx of young hatchlings (which quickly outnumbered the 4 adults!) he found himself taking up a lot of responsibility for them, in spite of being younger than most of the others.

He grew with the the clan, along with his mate Tenmei. It's safe to say that without him the clan probably wouldn't have come nearly as far as it has today.
