While her and her mother don't dislike each other, they're not exactly the closest either as Tropic is a bit of a loner and tends to be more concerned with doing her own thing. Azalea does still always love welcoming Tropic back from her travels and hearing all about what she saw. Tropic herself can't complain about her mom's "welcome home" dinners she always makes either.

Tropic still has no idea what her charge could be, and due to her loner personality isn't even sure what/who she should really be looking for, but she gets enough out of the experience of her travels that she doesn't let it bother her too much.
