Xalic came to this water clan from the Windswept Plateau just before Xavia arrived. The clan had decided they needed to do something about the surplus on insects in the hoard, and all the picky eaters said they'd prefer their first choice of food over insects if it was available. After careful consideration, Rose decided she would seek out some Spiral dragons, preferably a male and female to create a population of insect eaters to balance out the amount of food stored away. While fishing near the boarder of the Windswept Plateau, they met Xalic who had been considering joining a water clan. Rose brought him to their clan where the lady dragons took fondly to his lively nature and Shieldbreaker approved of the charming new member. Xalic discovered that if he swims in a style similar to how he flies, his markings make him nearly invisible. He can easily sneak up on prey and dragons alike. Sometimes he has too much fun sneaking up on the hatchlings and scaring them.
