"Bring the blood to me, Ink." Desdemona is the leader of her own anti-deity cult. She dislikes all of them, even the Stormcatcher, who created her. Her loyal companion, Ink, works alongside her in an attempt to drain the deities of their blood, believing they're praising Emperor Cepheus. They believe he is a more powerful deity than each god and goddess. Little do they know how loyal Cepheus and the majority of his followers are to the deities... When Desdemona was created by the Stormcatcher in a lab, she was very comfortable with him and had no problem with him at all. As soon as she was old enough, however, she snuck out of one of the labs she was in to see what each deity was like. Each one was kind to her, just like the Stormcatcher was to her, until suddenly, something tragic happened. Desdemona was returning to what her old home used to be just to find it obliterated by the Arcanist in a radiation accident. The two deities tried to save it, but it only made things worse. No other deity cared about what had happened to her home as they claimed they had "more important matters to worry about." That night, all the girl could do was cry while full of rage. As she sobbed, a drop of black liquid dropped onto her snout. She opened her eyes to see a little purple figure with a fluffy tail, big eyes, and two antennae staring at her. "I've been watching you all day," the figure said. "I watched it all - the accident, the deities' behavior, all of it. I know how you feel. I've had issues like that in the past." Desdemona wiped her teary eyes and said, "Who are you? How do you know me?" |

"I saw you when you were greeting the Shadowbinder. When you left, I came with you, only I went to your home to meet you, but instead..." her voice trailed off as she looked at the debris from the accident. "I don't exactly have a name. All I know is I was once an Ice Sprite, but I was taken by the Shadowbinder and I was turned into... This mess. An Ichor Nymph." Desdemona listened carefully to all her words when they both decided to stick together. They both ended up later on Emperor Cepheus's island when another dragon left just before Desdemona came. She named her nymph Ink since it looked as though ink was traveling down her body. The two decided that they would begin their own cult against the deities since they wronged the two horrifically. Not many dragons or familiars are in their cult, however, since they are all loyal to their god(s)/goddess(es). |
