Stepping out of her lair into the fading light of dusk, Cherry took in the sights around her. She tried to avoid interactions with the others in this clan at all costs. Many of them avoided the battle-hardened dragon out of fear anyway, others out of disdain. To those she would narrow her eyes and give a piercing stare until they turned away. If looks could kill... They had no idea, nor did she desire to fill them in. Her life, her past - it was her business and it had shaped her into what she was today. Sometimes she wondered why she chose to stay here, but it was calm, and there were more than enough resources to go around. More than she could say for the days of her past journeys. Separated from her family at a very young age, Cherry had no one watching her back but herself. Foraging, scavenging, seeking shelter and fighting for survival, the wildclaw did what she must to stay alive. Emerging from the depths of the Scarred Wasteland, a hardened warrior, silent and agile as a ninja, quick and unerring as an assassin, never missing her mark. There was a time in this clan's past when she had taken charge, so to speak, leading and commanding those who would follow her. Those who didn't, well, she didn't go out of her way to protect them. The clan had since started to arrange itself into some semblance of order and hierarchy, and so she had stepped back into the shadows, minding her own and watching, observing. Not many were close to her, which was how she preferred it. Having been on her own for so long, she liked the freedom of solitude, but did what she needed to contribute and make use of the clan's assets. For the most part they let her be - she wasn't the only lone wolf in this clan and she knew she wouldn't be the last. | ___________ |
