Marrow runs the town library and archive system, and is pretty sure it's haunted. This is primarily because something keeps eating the books (but only the mass-produced ones) and leaving behind an eerie feeling. And also because he has seen literal ghosts wandering the stacks - but they seem nice enough.

The library is one of the town's oldest buildings, and boasts an impressive collection of books, manuscripts, and other documents. Some say the town was originally built solely to house the library. Researchers and scholars from all over are regular visitors, and for a while the library was one of the few things still keeping the town on the map.
