The Cold One

For the longest time Aerleus was on his own, he did not know where he belonged. A wanderer hailing from the Sunbeam Ruins. He spoke little and when he did his words were cold. It was perhaps fate that a cold dragon such as him ended up finding his way to the Snowsquall Tundra.

Still the solitude suited him.

Until it didn't and Aerleus suddenly felt lonely. He had pushed away everyone that he might have called friend, and he had no clan of his own to return to.

He decided to wander again, improve his fighting skills but he didn't get far until he happened upon a clan of Imperials. One caught his eye, a flame coloured lass called Seren and Aerleus decided to settle within this clan to win her heart.

He had her protective cousin to get past first... and for once Aerleus was looking forward to the challenge.

Aerleus is a noble sort, but he can come across as rather hostile in personality when really he prefers either not to talk or to say very little. He struggles with conversation and prefers to let his actions show his meaning.

Don't be mistaken by what one would perceive as reluctance to fight, he's a very skilled warrior but he's also ruthless and he does not like to show that side of himself unless he has to.

He likes to paint and sketch and if he's not training he can be found drawing what he sees.

Seren was his opposite, to his coldness there was warmth and slowly but surely Aer felt himself falling hard for the chirpy imperial. There is still a lot of tenderness and shyness between the pair as they try to find their footing in this courtship. But they are both happy.

Zelmyr is Seren's cousin, he's rather protective of his young family member, after having just found her again and so he and Aerleus got off on the wrong foot when Aer started courting her. They have come to terms however when Zelmyr saw how happy his cousin was. However their friendship is tense at best.

When Aerleus first joined the clan Tywin pulled him aside and tried to get him involved within the clan politics and recruit him as a warrior for Malignity. Aerleus refused due to his close relationship with Seren and growing appreciation for the reigning matriarch and patriarch

As a capable warrior Aerleus drew the attention of Malignity who wished to recruit him into the folds of the warrior dragons. He was extremely disappointed when Aerleus turned him down repeatedly, even turning down Tywin. They have not gotten on since. Malignity still considers Aerleus a skilled warrior and he knows when push comes to shove Aerleus will defend that which he holds dear.

L Y T H A R I O N

When Aerleus expressed an interest in gathering Lytharion was soon to take him under his wing. They bonded over the land and mornings hunting and fishing to provide for the clan. Aerleus respects Lytharion very much and is pleased he gets on with Seren's father.
