Part of the lair's Quartet, sings Bass/Tenor
Living in a small Arcane lair, it was inevitable they would be in the library at the same time eventually. Fugue was humming to herself while finishing up some research project on the top floor when she heard her song being echoed from the other side of the vast room. Easily slipping into the harmony part, she rose and began to search for the owner of the rich voice.

As Toccata entered the library for the first time, he heard his favorite aria winding through the selves. Unable to help himself, he began softly singing the words, gradually swelling in volume.

My search took twenty minutes. In that time, the unknown voice and I traded harmony and melody betwixt us. Once I found him, I was pleasantly shocked! How could such a deep voice come from such a small male? My mind had filled in a large Guardian, but a Pearlcatcher the same size as me stood in the center of the floor. Gathering my courage, I strode onto the dias and into the light.

I watched as a shadow detached itself from the shelves and she stepped into a shaft of sunlight. Such beauty I had never seen nor heard before! Radiant as the rising sun, she sparkled in the beam falling through the stained glass skylight. We lost track of time, and ended up being late for dinner.

Both agree missing dinner was worth it though!
