ability: Winter moon
During the time where the moon is visible, ice-powered attacks (both magic- and physical ones) are boosted in power, and Xander can predict 3 different ways opponents may act (though only one of which will actually be correct, and he’ll have to guess which one it is). When the sun rises, Xander will fall ill, and depending of the duration of Winter moon’s effect the duration of his illness may vary (the longer he used it, the longer he will remain bedridden). This ability does not have to activate as soon as the sun sets, but can be activated ANYTIME during the night- whether it's the middle of the night or almost dawn.

Xander is… a leader…

a leader with a terrifying vision.

He leads the clan of heavenly plains with what the members of the clan consider to be benevolence, but to any outsider the small nocturne would come across as a extremely charismatic yet horribly controling male. His control over his subjects goes deep- to the point where each and every single dragon in the clan of heavenly plains would throw themselves off of a cliff if the Nocturne told them to, without asking a single question.

Their purpose in life is to serve the clan and its leader- any sign of hesitation could prove your disloyalty.

Despite this absolute control, there are TWO the nocturne has never managed to control- his mate and his precious, beloved, foolish brother.

They were supposed to rule side by side- supposed to decide the fate of the clan TOGETHER! The eclipse on his day of birth, along with the fact Xander was born during the winter solstice would… it was supposed to mean… they'd stay together forever. And yet- some elder predicted the would be destroyed by the younger's claw, and it had caused the small dragon to flee.

No…

One day, his precious, lovely, foolish, idiotic, naïve brother will come back- he’ll have no choice.

The pale nocturne had the elder executed mere days after his brother's escape- the clan would now purely rely on HIS predictions. It didn't matter they weren't 100% accurate all the time- to question him was a death sentence and all who were loyal knew better than to wonder if their leader did the right thing.

Xander is a leader with a terrifying vision, and it doesn’t matter who he’ll have to kill, torture, harm or imprison- he will reach his goals no matter what, and have his brother by his side again, even if he has to destroy his entire clan in order to do so.

It doesn't matter he'll have to keep his clan into isolation, so they cannot be influenced by outsiders and their ideas.

It doesn't matter how many clans are destroyed, just because they settle a bit too closely to Xander's home.

It doesn't matter how many public executions and torture sessions he has to hold so his subjects will see what disobedience means.

It doesn't matter who he has to send out to perish.

It's all for the greater good, so Xander can stay in control.

and his precious little brother can return home one day.
