Biography
Shallow Pool
Permanent Resident
Pronouns: she/her/hers
An orphaned hatchling with no parents or Clan, Shallow Pool was taken in by the Clan after she was found on the shore beneath the Plateau cliffs, washed onto the rock along with the shattered pieces of her egg. Amoreth became her adopted mother, and the little Nocturne grew, learning to swim and catch fish at a young age. As an adolescent she left the Clan for the Water Flight to learn more about the Flight that had given her her blue eyes and about the God who dwelled in the sea. She learned to fight with a trident and became a treasure guard for a Clan in a deep-sea palace. After spending years there, though, learning all she could, she eventually realized that this place was not where she wanted to live. She returned home, much to the delight and relief of her mother. Shallow Pool still loves the sea and now puts her trident and swimming skills to good use to hunt for fish and sea plants for the Clan, but when she returns home she returns to Wind. She considers Cassian to be her brother because they grew up together when they were small and remained close despite years apart (Cassian sent letters to her at the bottom of the sea).
