Esme is quiet, secretive & shy. Not many people seem to see the good in her, even though she is a child of her clan's patriarch. That's fine with Esme, though. She dreams of being a spy and the more she can blend into the shadows, the better.

Although she can be moody at times, Esme keeps her feelings to herself and does not often show visible signs of emotion. Her favorite animal is the cat, as it shares many of her own personality traits - independence, the ability to hide well, and extreme patience. She would have had an entire den-full if it weren't for the fact that they scratched up her favorite field manual and sprayed her father's cloak when he came to visit her last time.

Going mostly unnoticed, she is often witness to all sorts of secret conversations and knows almost everyone's business. Her father relies greatly upon her sleuthing skills in order to keep the lair in line and head off any kind of foul play before it begins.

Though her siblings find her a bit odd, Esme has a deep love for them and always keeps an ear out for anything that could cause them harm. She does not dream of growing up to be a happy den-wife type of dragon, but plans to train up her future hatchlings in the art of investigation. 		Tales of Terror
