Oh, OH! Hey there! Yeah, You! You're here looking for art, aren't you? No? Well boy, are you missing out.
You might think with all these map making tools and telescopes and stuff at my feet that I'm a star mapper. And I am. But that's not the point! I'm also the clan's artist! See these paws? These toes, these adept little fingers of mine? Yes, oh yes, they're perfect for drawing with any long narrow mark making utensil, I promise you that!
A few cycles ago I was selling my art in Plague's Nocturne festival when an odd but very exciting group of dragons showed up. They perused the games and stalls, making sure to buy something from every seller and play games with every barker. They had everyone's eyes, especially mine!
You see, while I may be an artist, not many dragons can appreciate my creations. Too many clans refuse to spend money on frivolous things. What's the fun in that? You can always get more treasure later, am I right? I never have a whole lot of gold at once, but that doesn't stop me from having a really great life! Well, that's mostly because I joined the Sjenans.
Anyway, back to my story, this eccentric bunch of dragons makes their appearance, finally showing up at my art tent. This little white and green Wildclaw gasps the second she steps into the tent, her eyes could have had little hearts shining in them from how she admired my showcase. Immediately she bought every piece I had!!
I was excited, to say the least, but also a bit confused, since not many dragons are even willing to buy a single drawing from me, let alone forty. She is so proud of herself, ecstatic about my beautiful art, and happy to help pay my dragon bills! But then she realizes that she has no way to take all of her new art with her, and I so gracefully offer to travel with them to transport the drawings in my tent-that-is-also-a-bag. They agree, so at the end of the festival I pack up all of my belongings and follow these dragons.
What I notice at this point is that nobody had told me where I was going. We traveled for a few days and set up a temporary camp. I was resting my legs when the leader of this group, Wyelib, comes up and tells me I'm part of his clan now. If I want to be, of course.
And I realize that so far in my life I really hadn't accomplished much. But now I had a place I could belong, besides the whole of the Plague flight. Wyelib explains how his clan functions, and how I could easily become an efficient member of the clan as well as continue to pursue my interests. I was always down for an adventure.
So I accept. And now I'm here! Trying to sell art to you! Telling my whole life story is part of my hustling strategy. What do you think? It was boring? Oh dear, I'm terribly sorry, I guess I'll have to ask for more advice from Temp. Come back later and we can discuss the arrangement of the stars!
