Biography

There are those who venture into the Tangled Wood and never make it out, or at least not in the form they had when they went in. The ghostly, glowing nocturne that Whisperglow discovered at the edge of the clan's territory would appear to be one of these unfortunate souls, the spirit of some lost traveler from long ago. Wisp, as the clan has come to call this strange being, seems disinclined to interact with living dragons, and it's not completely clear whether she's even able to. As she poses no threat and has shown no signs of despair or a desire to move on, the clan has accepted her presence and chosen to coexist rather than trying to banish her. She drifts in and out of the edges of the Wood, trailing the ribbons of the binding spells Whisperglow has wrapped her in to prevent other entities from using her energies for ill intent. Wisp will occasionally appear to dragons traversing the Wood, and the clan has learned that following her will always lead down a safe path, but nobody is certain if she's intentionally guiding lost travelers or just following her own route, moving through the forest she has become part of on some business known only to herself.
