As stated above, Aesther is very much disposed to sarcasm, as well as misinterpreting another's words to serve his own needs. It's rare that one finds him in a serious mood.
He's also incredibly stubborn, refusing to alter a decision or adapt to a situation. He's inflexible, but if you need a dragon to get something done, Aesther is your dragon.
Furthermore, he tends to avoid problems by referring them to his mate, which infuriates everyone but Aesther himself.

Background

Aesther was initially raised in the best of environments, but was given to his current clan when his parents decided they no longer wanted to care for such an irritating hatchling. When he arrived in clan territory, he was taken in by Phein, who showed him the ropes and taught him to look for supplies among the rubble. The two became close, eventually becoming mates in secret; the clan did not approve of such pairings. Each was forced to take a female mate as well, but their real bond was to one another- at least, until Aesther was sold.
