spaceFrom the depths of the tribe's library, a fierce fluttering can be distinctly heard. It is accompanied by mutterings and the faint slamming of old tomes and scrolls. Amidst the dim lighting and heavy scent of dust, a petite pink fae flits through the air. In a hurried demeanor, she sorts books and shoves crinkled manuscripts into their respective spots. Everything is in chaotic harmony. Every once in a while, she pauses to sneeze from the accumulating debris or to count the ever-growing number of paper cuts criss-crossing her already bandaged fingertips. These rests only last a heartbeat, however; in an instant, she is back to zipping and zooming about the library. Her claws dance delicately over each spine; it caresses the cracking leather covers with the finesse of the finest dancers. With swirling broad strokes, she smooths the creased corners of pages like a painter finishing a masterpiece, and her limbs move about with the dedicated intensity of a maestro guiding a magnificent orchestra. Loose pages that fly free of their bindings, reveling in the brief taste of freedom, are nestled back into their beds, tiny paws pressing them against the tome's flaking binding. Smudged blots of ink are fixed with the feather-light grace of a quill, and small little fingerprints dot the flicking pages after.

spaceAnd then things are still. Everything is neat, set perfectly in its spot. Not a stray scrap can be seen, and much of the collective dust has cleared from the air. Curled atop a great stack of discarded book covers and torn pages is the little pink fae. Her emerald eyes are closed in deep slumber, and her speckled wings drape over her form. Her ink-stained paws are clutched close to her chest, and her little tail rests snaked across her nose. She is a curious sight to see, seeming so dainty and fragile in sleep. It is hard to compare it to the wondrous grandeur of her wakeful self.
