Biography
|
Sekhmet Let slip the dogs of war. The drones are overall a homogeneous lot - most of them are Mizar and Alcor's children or grandchildren after all. Sekhmet therefore stands out purely by virtue of being a Skydancer, not to mention being Plagueborn. Many years ago, before Goldwood was like it is now, Sekhmet arrived fresh out of her egg as an acolyte in training for the Lightweaver's service. Her training went far better than expected, and so she was claimed by Mizar and Aine both as an enforcer. Goldwood was kinder then, but... It hasn't seemed to help Sekhmet's disposition any. Ostensibly Sekhmet is a commander in Mizar's army, though in practice she's clearly a lone wolf - and all of the drones are utterly terrified of her, and for good reason. She is their Empress's enforcer after all; if one steps out of line she is the dispenser of the Empress's judgement, and that judgement is rarely kind. Or sane. When left to her own devices, Sekhmet keeps to herself, interacting with no one and responding only to her superiors. And even with them she remains silent and only responds in nods and bows. It's a lonely life; one must wonder what she thinks of all this. Better to not ask, though. |
