The Semps are merciless killers. They are a clan from ancient times that were named after a single man, a man who loved anime. The Semps continue this anime tradition today, often watching Neon Genesis Evangelion in their spare time. They all agree that Rei is best girl.

The Semps live in a hierarchical society, with the alphas being Nocturnes and the betas being any other species. Semps will not hesitate to kill offspring that isn't a Nocturne.
