So let me tell you a story. It started with just an idea-- a little spark set off by an affinity for certain colours, and lead to something greater.

Now young Corvette was just as she is now: haughty and stubborn. She thinks very highlly of herself and is very proud of her beauty, and she always was, even before she was outfitted with her current genes.

We found her on one of our scouting trips as an early clan. A few of our elder dragons decided a trip to the Tangled Wood was in order to recruit more dragons to the family, looking specifically for dragons with a... preferred colour scheme. The party was headed by our co-founder and ambassador, Farinella, and when the mirror spotted Corvette deep in the woods, she split off from the party to go talk to her.

As soon as she came close enough, it was clear to Farinella that the coatl was destined to become part of the family, but she knew not how the dragon would react to her. The mirror introduced herself to the dragon as politely as she could, and made her offer with a grin.

"Come stay with us," she said. "Be a part of our clan."

Corvette, of course, was unimpressed. She turned her back on the, at that time, small and disjointed clan, but stopped when she felt a claw on her shoulder.

"Please. We really need you. You're everything we've been searching for!" This, of course, got the coatl's attention. She turned back around with wide eyes.

"Did you say... you need me?"

Farinella smiled wide, knowing she had the coatl hook, line, and sinker. And thus, Corvette started what is now known as the Rose Hip Tea hatchery. With her deep brown underbelly and vibrant pink wings, she really was exactly what we needed.
