Beelze has a reputation for being one of the most unapproachable figures in the clan, mostly due to his brooding and standoffish behavior. He is the first coatl to have joined Pendragon’s troop, having come a long way as a hatchling from his homeland. The only comfort Beelze had from home was a stuffed Plaguebringer plush.

In the beginning Beelze had a mate named Nikita. The two lived happily together, bearing five offspring that—save for one—have all found new homes across Sornieth. However, their time together was short and Nikita left this world to fight for the Icewarden. Their firstborn, Echo, shares a similar fate and serves the Lightweaver. Beelze hasn’t found another mate since.

Beelze serves as the clan’s general. The coli team reports to him with their findings and he advises Pendragon on when to participate in conquests in the name of the Icewarden. He is the second-in-command, and has had to fight to keep his position.
