You need exactly 133 STR and 129 INT in order to Scratch + Eliminate and also Contuse + Eliminate all the monsters except bosses. While you can get higher QCK on the mage, you don't actually need it and VIT points are more useful.


Elements

Any element is fine. Nature and Fire don't have weaknesses against mages; Arcane and Wind are also good, while the worst is Light.

Use elemental slash if one of your fighters is Fire, Lightning, Nature, Shadow, Water, or Wind, since it will help against one of the bosses.

You need 6 turns to defeat 3-packs:
  • Dragon 1: Contuse Monster 1
  • Dragon 1: Contuse Monster 2
  • Dragon 2: Eliminate Monster 1
  • Dragon 2: Eliminate Monster 2
  • Dragon 3: Scratch Monster 3
  • Dragon 3: Eliminate Monster 3

If the mage doesn't have enough breath for Contuse, use Haste:

  • Dragon 2: Scratch Monster 1
  • Dragon 2: Eliminate Monster 1
  • Dragon 3: Scratch Monster 2
