Shieldbreaker was named the alpha male dragon of Rydia on the day he matured. He was born a light dragon, but his spirit always told him he was meant to be a water dragon. Shieldbreaker was taken in as a hatchling by Rydia when the clan first started expanding. He now stands proudly beside Rose and watches over the clan protectively. He makes sure playful hatchlings don't get swept away in the tides and manages relationships with allied clans. He tries to make it clear that this clan wishes to remain peaceful, but he will show his strength if he has to protect everybody from danger and bares the scars as proof.

Shieldbreaker has grown to accept and respect his born affiliation to light since he was named alpha male. He's developed strong light magic that he can use in a fight, but prefers to spare the magic so he can illuminate the lair or the water in front of him on dark nights. Shieldbreaker loves Rose with all his heart, so much that she is his Charge. You've never seen a Guardian turn to putty until you've seem him do anything to please his lady.
