Pearl at first glance is assumed to fit more for maybe a position as an artist or dancer for the Scorchtalon Clan. However, Pearl is a hardy warrior and mage that uses her fire element to her advantage. She is a spellcaster who writes fiery magic symbols in the air to either defend, protect, or attack.

She's the youngest of the mages, but she's one of the strongest spellcasters in the clan.
Despite her natural skills, Pearl takes it upon herself to train to become as skilled as the oldest spellcaster, Secha. While she was not formally apprenticed to him(as he has his own apprentice), she learned from all the mages and tries to combine their talents in herself to create the ultimate mage.

She is also proficient in water elemental magic(which is rather strange, as she has no close relatives that were born in the water flight). It may come from a father and grandfather who worship the Tidelord.

If there's one thing Pearl is terrible at, it's potionmaking, but Pearl refuses to admit defeat and works tirelessly to get better at it.

Mystic is an inspiration and non-official mentor to her. Pearl admires that he works very hard to achieve his goals.

She has no interest in pursuing relationships, romantic or platonic. She believes that the only way to be truly happy is to focus on your tasks and duties and do the best you can at them.
This sounds good in theory but she actually has a fear of intimacy and is terrified of pursuing relationships.

Related to Glade, since Pearl's father is Barracuda's son and Glade's Barracuda's kid. She's whatever the gender-neutral term for niece/nephew maybe?

She ended up being one of the biggest and strongest imperials in all of the Scorchtalon clan. She trains her body as well as her mind extensively, making her very muscular.

Like her mother, Pearl is skilled at claw-to-claw combat. She generally uses her magic to fight, but she's more than capable of holding her own in a physical altercation.
