Dukeis

A newcomer to the plague flight's territory, a water guardian, Dukeis, had actually spied Kalashkia on the job in his territory. Admiring her strength and ability, as well as her coat of scales, Dukeis was enthralled by her thought for a week before he made it his quest to seek her out and join her, or perhaps impress her enough to be considered a potential mate. It was another week or two before he was able to hone in on her location, having checked the territory of the shadow flight first, based on her appearance. He was taken in by the Foulsneak clan to see her, dragged before her to voice his plea.

What brought the three together was this plea. Kalashkia heard Dukeis' wish and deigned to give him a chance... However, he must endure and survive three trials to prove himself worthy of his place, the first of which would be in the coliseum... The other two are a secret to him for now, Dukeis can only really trust that they are more grueling and sinister. Kalashkia requested Culios as someone she trusted to accompany them and lead the way, herself bringing up the rear of the party's little line, keeping an eye on the foreign guardian. Culios heeds the words of Kalashkia loosely, but will not guide them wrong. Kalashkia oversees the other two, having Culios leave Dukeis to battle on his own to push him to the limit and discover the extent of his skill and his willingness to serve. Kalashkia herself has been finding herself frustrated by how much she is, in fact, impressed by Dukeis. She only shows it through irritated slashes, finishing the male guardian's enemies off and dismissing them as flukes or aided by her.
