B I O G R A P H Y

______ Like the rest of his kind, Tulstae left his home at a young age in search of a Charge of his own. He expected to spend a long time travelling, but it was much sooner than he had anticipated when he discovered a small Fae dragon erecting a shrine. He was curious and watched her toil day and night until it was finished. He knew he himself was being watched by an older, Skydancer male, but he paid little heed to Spatklefeather.

After a few days had passed, Tulstae made himself known to Aelwen, offered to help her erect the shrine, but she refused, determined that she needed to complete it herself, alone. Her dedication to building the monument, a colossal task for such a small dragon had him fascinated, and he knew he had found it.

Aelwen was his Charge.

He swore to protect her for the rest of her life. To him, there was nothing more important, there was nothing he wouldnt do for her. She had no interest in being his mate, and he didnt want to be hers either. But he did want to remain by her side always.

The two of them agreed that they would nest together twice a year. Once to celebrate the completion of the Shrine and founding of Goldenvale, and once to commemorate the Brightshine Jubilee. Once the nests hatch, Tulstae has very little to do with the hatchlings. Most go to the service of the Lightweaver once they are old enough, and so far the only exception is their firstborn, Thessaly. The two of them have a tenuous relationship at best, and he sometimes tries to get along with her for Aelwen's sake, but it is clear there is no love lost between them.
