cannot stand clocks;
has his own keep with a dungeon;
lavish lifestyle;
severe trust issues;
values fear over respect;
more than 95% of body covered at all times;
personally maintains tools and armor;
loves stained-glass and glass-made products;
is against subordinates- they tend to slack and betray; so he always takes care of matters personally, with flawless efficiency.

The Ash falls like the darkest snow...
Born in Ashfall Wastes he learned quickly about ruthlessness and survival. He also learned the value of strength...and in particular physical one, as magic was seen as a form of "cheating".

He, however, was born with magical potential.Always felt lacking in comparison to his peers, one day he decided go out into wilderness, for a "survival game".
It was there he discovered ashstorms and flames, and heat manipulation. He had also came to several conclusions:
1.While magic can obliterate enemy, afterwards you're as powerful as an insect. Thus better avoid situations leading into conflict.
2. You dont have to be actually powerful. If you look like you're powerful, possible conflicts will usually pass you by.
3. In case of conflict, dont mess around- most efficient and fast way is the way to go.Efficient does not mean honorable or fair.

He spends a lot of time making himself looking scary (and ooooh boy does he succeed), but beneath those layers lays extremely gorgeous metallic scales embroidered by gems..enough to rival ...certain.. dominancy.

As you enter the cabinet first thing that strikes you is the absence of sound..well not commpletely but outside world seems extremely distant. Your steps here, however, echo- you are sure that whatever move you make will be heard thorough whole keep. You try your best to seem unhindered and focus on the room itself.
Almost immediately you notice a huge stained glass window- because of it (and some lanterns) room itself is comfily dim.Directly infrom of it is a suit of armor- you cant make pout the details because of how shadows are cast. "Curious"- you think and continue on examining.
To the both sides of window tower bookcases- filled to the brim with books and scrolls and leaning on the walls, again- on botth sides- are lined up expensive-looking weapons and armor sets. "Not very practical"- you think aloud.
Clank.
Door slams behind you. You still catch a thought of how much you hate these keeps with ghost doors...and the fear clear out the mind.
That centerpiece suit of armor has now two glowy dots where eyes should be. "Like reptiles"- you think and then laugh meekly- you both are dragons afterall.As a messenger, it is a vital skill to be able to read others- and here this skill coudnt be applied.
"Thief, who walks in willingly.."- voice states. He doesnt need to be loud- sound is crips clear; you probably coyuld hear him fine if he just whispered..
It moves into the light, towards you- lanterns set ablaze with every step; armor is in pristine condition making least possible sound as given its nature. With every step of his forward, you step back by instinct, till your back thumps quite loudly into the door.
And then you realie your mistake.
"Wait wait!-I have a message from Corrente; I am no thief!"- you shout in desperation. And it works.
Mood immediately changes to that of a happy puppy instead of impending doom, you are tossed a hefty sum of gold as you watch in bewilderment as thsi scary guy looking for nice enough paer and new ink and hustles over trinkets to send. You still stand by the door in bewilderment by the time he finishes writting and shoves the response into your bag, nudging anxiously to go.
.....And they say messengers job is not exciting enough.
