Dusklyre

This elegant bogsneak proudly bears the title of Night Watch. She begins her vigil when the sun begins to set, sometimes alone but often accompanied by the clan's hatchlings and young adults. Dusklyre is a gentle, motherly tone in the otherwise possibly scary darkness, and possesses a wonderful gift.

Dusklyre had always been fascinated by the tales woven by the elder dragons, and even now passes them on in turn; any dragon able to resist sleep to watch the stars alongside her can listen to her soothing, skilled renditions of the songs of legend. When not actively singing, Dusklyre tends to hum instead. Many little dragons, insisting they are not tired, end up lulled into deep sleep by her melodies, and awake in the morning from pleasant, restful dreams.
