____Queled can come off as very cold and formal to outsiders, but to those that were his friends, he was an outgoing bloke with a good humor and charm. He seems to have this thing about people showing him the proper respect and reverence as the patriarch. If you don't, he will let you know that you have displeased him... he will be subtly passive aggressive.
____Queled is the originator of Clan Norfort with his wife, Dellsten. They are said to have come from deep in the Southern Ice Field. It is unknown why they chose the create a settlement where they did, but the two say it was instinct; they just knew. The development was not easy. Dellsten abandoned the project, leaving Queled alone to work on it. While she was gone, Queled started to recruit passing travelers. It became a sort of bachelor clan with them being all guys. They had much fun together. Norfort was built up by them quite considerably at that time. Dellsten returned, and with her connections from her travels, Norfort became an official settlement.
____ Queled was a well respected figure among the clan for years... was. Every since his outburst at Orlainthe, inflicting a chronic wound on her, he fell out of favor with the members. He never officially gave up his authority, he just ceased to be active. Dellsten has taken charge as the head, but the clan is mostly managed by the council now.
____He is rather reclusive now. People hate to talk about it... what happened. He was such a close friend at one time, now he is shunned. Dellsten remains to be his rock at these times.

D E L L S T E N - Wife
Dellsten and Queled have a solid relationship now. In their early days the two struggled to keep it together. The two simply had fallen out of love. So much of their energy was put into surviving and getting the settlement off the ground. Dellsten left Queled to travel to the Soahan region, where she became a scholar. For almost a year she studied, and she gave birth to Algrendis at this time. When she returned to find that Queled had been lost in a blizzard. She saved him. Since then, the two have been better to one another... devoted to each other, but you wouldn't know that since they aren't openly affectionate. Their flirting has a dry and almost bitter humor that is hard to understand.

P R E G R E N - Favored Advisor
Pregren is one of Queled's closest friends and favorite advisor. The two just clicked when they met. Pregren treats Queled like he's royalty sometimes... I think Queled likes that level of formality. Pregren is also one of the few that decided to remain friends with Queled after the Orlainthe incident. But he doesn't advertise that fact to the ones who find Queled revolting.

A L G R E N D I S - Son
Queled has trouble connecting with his son. Queled wishes Algrendis to take his position of authority as a noble serious, but Algrendis couldn't care less. Queled can't help but find himself disappointed in his son for not wishing to continue their rule. Raising Algrendis, Queled found himslef routinely disciplining him for not obeying or for taking interest in the wrong things. But Queled was no match for Algrendis's will. He has since given up on the idea his son taking the responsibility of leadership. They aren't close, but since Algrendis had his kids, they interact more often.
