Darter

Darter came to the clan without a name, having been left in the area of the Marketplace to fend for herself. She showed no displeasure at abandonment, and frequently greeted guests and patrons that ventured through. After a few trips, Azrael, the clan's religious leader, took a liking to the young Imperial and brought her home. He affectionately nicknamed her Darter, both as a reference to her energy and to poke fun at her indecisiveness, and the name stuck. Darter took quite a while to find her feet in the clan, until she decided to visit Ambriel (who had always intimidated her), who helped her realize that she was almost a fully-realized Empath, all on her own. If "moral support" were a career, Darter would be the most successful in the field - she often acts as a diplomat or therapist, and never seems to lose her smile.
